Personally appeared before me Jesse Bolton a Justice of the peace within and for said county, Wm. H. Sleeth Administrator of the Estate of David Davis deceased and William Wickliff, and Henry Bass appraisers of said Estate and being duly sworn, the said William Wickliff and Henry Bass say that the above Inventory and appraisment as signed by them is a just and true Inventory and Valuation of the goods, Chattle, and Effects of the said David Davis to the best of their Judgment, and the said W. H. Sleeth says that the above is a true Inventory of the personal Estate of the said David Davis so far as the same has come to his hands to be administered. Sworn to before me this 23rd day of August 1841

Shelby County } Know all men by these presents, That we Greenberry Davis of said county, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Indiana, in the penal sum of Seventy five Dollars lawful money of the United States to the payment whereof well and truly to be made and done, we jointly and severally bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated the 10th day of February A.D. one thousand eight hundred and forty five. The condition of the above obligation is such, that should the above bound Greenberry Davis faithfully discharge all and singular the duties and trusts required of him in the application and disposition of the proceeds of the sale of the real Estate of Richard Davis minor heir of John Davis decades, late of said county, and promptly pay over as required by law, to the proper persons and authorities, all moneys which may come into his possession by virtue of such sale or sales of Real Estate belonging to said Richard Davis Then the above obligation to be null and void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect in law.
