Moses Kitchell, Administrator of the Estate of
Levi Young, dec’d
Be it remembered that on the Twenty-first day of November
in the year of our Lord, Eighteen-hundred and Thirty-nine, administration of all and singular -- the goods and
chattels, rights, credits, monies and effects which were of Levi Young of said County, deceased, who died intestate
is here now in due form of Law at the County of Shelby aforesaid granted unto Moses Kitchell by the Clerk of the
probate Court of Shelby County in Vacation. The said Moses Kitchell have first filed in the office of the Clerk
aforesaid, a bond in the penal sum of Two-hundred dollars with Henry Boulon as Security and takes the oath as required
by the State in such case made and provided as Administrator as aforesaid.

FEBRUARY
At a term of the Probate Court of Shelby County begun and held at the Courthouse in Shelbyville in and for the
County of Shelby in the State of Indiana on Monday, the tenth day of February in the year of our Lord, Eighteen-hundred and Forty. The same being the second Monday of February aforesaid, presents the Honorable Jacob Kennerly, Judge of the Probate Court aforesaid.
Court is now opened by public proclamation at the Courthouse room.
Moses Kitchell, administrator of the Estate of Levi Young, deceased.
On our inspection of the premises, it is ordered adjudged decreed by the Court now here that the grant of administration herein so as aforesaid made by the Clerk of this Court, in vacation, is in all things fully approved and confirmed and this Cause is continued without day.

Comes at this time the said Admin and files his petition
for final settlement and the premises being seen the second day of the next term of this Court is fixed and set
apart for the examination and final settlement of the accounts of said administrator of which the Clerk is ordered
to give public notice.
And it is ordered by the Court that said Administrator
file in the office of the Clerk of this Court within thirty days a complete account, currant and all the vouchers
for money by him expended in the Settlement of said Estate for the inspection of all interested.

Comes now the said Administrator and files his account
currant in the words following to-wit and said Administrator moves the Court to decree a final settlement of his
said administration and the premises being seen and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that said Estate
has been fully administered and that there remains nothing in the hands of said administrator for the discharge
of any part of any (can’t read this word) of the debts of said decedent. It is ordered adjudged and decreed by
the Court here that said Exhibit and the proceedings of said Administrator are approved and confirmed and taken
as a full and final settlement of the accounts of his said Administration all of which is finally ordered adjudged
and decreed by the Court.
