Leason
Bass, Guardian of said minor, shows to the Court that his said ward is the owner of the following lands in Shelby
County, Indiana, to wit: The undivided eighth part of The East half of the South West quarter of Section (36) thirty
six, in Township (14) Fourteen of Range (7) seven, containing eighty acres, decended to her from her deceased Grand-father
Henry Bass, deceased; that all the personal estate belonging to his said ward which has come to the knowledge of
this Guardian is about the sum of $812..00 which is dependent of the settlement of the estate of the said Henry
Bass, deceased; that said ward has no other personal estate dependent on the settlement of any other estate or
the execution of any trust, that about seven and one half acres of said land are in cultivation and yield an annual
vent of about $22..50 that no rents have as yet been received or came into the hands of this Guardian; that said
ward is boarding and residing with Robert Kinsley, her father in Warren County, in the state of Iowa. It is further
shown that the rents accruing from said wards interest in said lands, after the payment of the taxes therein and
the expenses of keeping the same in repair, is not a source of any incum or profit to said ward, and that the interest
of said ward in said lands, is sustaining unavoidable waste and decay, and that a better investment can be made
of the proceeds arising from the sale thereof by placing the same at interest. He further shows that the interest
of said ward in said lands can be sold to advantage at private sale, and that the interest of said wards estate
would be promoted by dispersing with notice of the time peace and conditions of said sale. He there asks an order
accordingly
