Before me
Alexander Miller Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of said County
of Shelby personally came Jacob Vernon one of the subscribing witnesses to the
foregoing instrument of writing and being by me duly sworn says he saw and heard
William Smith who is now deceased sign seal Publish and declare the said
instrument of writing to be his last will and testament that he was of sound
mind and memory at the time of its execution and not under restraint or coercion
that he signed his name thereto
As a witness in presence of said testator and at his request and in the
presence of each other and further says not.

that the within last will of William Smith deceased has been duly admitted to
probate that its due Execution was this day proven by Jacob Vernon whose proofs

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said
Court the 15th day of January 1858 Alexander Miller Clerk (SEAL)
Signed Sealed published and declared by the aforesaid William Smith as his
last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our
names as witnesses thereto and in his presence and in the presence of each
