Inventory of Estate Worth $500, or Less
State of Indiana, Shelby County, Sct:
The undersigned shows that she is the widow of
George Vanskoik, deceased, late of said County and State; that the estate of said decedent, subject to administration, both real and personal, is not, as she believes and avers, worth over the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, exclusive of legal incumberances thereon; wherefore she asks that the same may be appraised and vested in her as such widow.
Dated this 13 day of August 1891
Victoria Vanskoik
The above petition filed by me, this 9 day of Dec, 1891
John R. Sedgwick Clerk
State of Indiana, Shelby County, Sct:
To W. W. Woodyard and Frank Smith of said County, Greeting:
Whereas Victoria Vanskoik widow of George Vanskoik, deceased, late of said county and State, has filed a petition, as above shown, setting forth that the estate of said decedent, subject to administration, both personal and real, is not worth more than Five Hundred Dollars, exclusive of legal incumbrance thereon, and asking an appraisement thereof:
Therefore, I have appointed W. W. Woodyard to act in concert with Frank Smith selected by said widow, (both disinterested householders of said County) as appraisers of said estate.
You will therefore proceed to inventory and appraise each solvent demand due the deceased, and each and every article of personal estate, (other than those exempt by law from administration) and each tract of real estate, which Inventory and Appraisement, when completed, you return, together with this precept, to this office.
