The undersigned, applicant for letters of Guardianship on the persons and estates of
Flora Belle Ensminger aged 19 years, January 7th 1880
Harriet E. Ensminger aged 17 years, September 2nd 1880
George Ensminger aged 12 years, January 1st 1880
Charlie Ensminger aged 12 years, January 1st 1880
Minor heirs of John Ensminger, late of Shelby County, Indiana; said minors reside in Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and are the joint owners of Real Estate situate in said County of the probable value of Eighteen hundred and fifty Dollars, which will rent annually for about the sum of one hundred and thirty five Dollars.
State of Indiana, Shelby county, SS:
Being duly sworn, says that the material facts contained in the above statement and application for Letters of Guardianship on the persons and estates of the persons therein named are correct and true, as she verily believes, and further saith not.

Flora Bell, Harriet E., George and Charlie Ensminger minor heirs of John Ensminger and Phillip Ensminger deceased files the foregoing Inventory of the Estate both Real and Personal of said wards:
That no money came into her hands for said wards at the time of her appointment nor has she since received anything for them. That said wards will probably have when the Estate of
Philip Ensminger their deceased grandfather is settled an interest therein of $135.00.
That said wards are the owners of the foregoing described Real Estate in Shelby County Indiana towit:
Each being the owner of 1/54th part of the following descended from Philip Ensminger their deceased grandfather.
The north half of the South East quarter of Section 16 Township 12 North of Range (8) containing Eighty acres and the South end of the West half of the North East quarter of Section 16 Township 12 Range Eight containing twenty acres; And the East end of the North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section 16 Township 12 Range 8 containing twelve acres. And the South part of the East half of the North East quarter of section 16 Township 12 Range 8 containing forty nine acres. That each of said wards are also the owners of one ninth (1/9) part of the following Real Estate in Shelby County Indiana descended to them from the deceased father, John Ensminger towit:
The North half of the North half of the North East quarter of section 16 Township 12 Range 8 containing forty acres. And the South part of the West half of the South East quarter of
Section 9 Township 12 Range 8 containing thirty acres, which Real Estate is the probable value of
$1850.00
Total Real and Personal
$1985.00
And said Guardian states that the annual rental value of said Real Estate per year is probably one hundred Dollars.

Louisa Ensminger Guardian of said Minors would submit to the Court the following Report of her said trust in final settlement with her ward Flora Belle.
She shows that since her appointment she received upon sale of wards Real Estate a certain amount of money which said ward received at the time.
That she also received for said ward certain funds from the Estate of her deceased Grandfather Phillip Ensminger, and that she has also received for said ward certain rents since her appointment all of which sums were paid to said ward as they were received.
That she is not accustomed to doing business and has not kept an account by which she is able to give the amounts received and paid out by her for said ward.
That her said ward is married and is now the wife of John Eck who is over 21 years of age.
That she files herewith the receipt of her said ward and her husband in full of all demands and their consent that this her report be approved and that she be discharged from her said trust.
She shows that all costs have been paid. Wherefore she asks that this her report be approved and that she be discharged from her trust as guardian of said ward Flora Belle.

I, Flora Belle Eck do hereby acknowledge the receipt from my former Guardian Louisa Ensminger of all moneys and demands due me from her as such Guardian and I hereby consent that her final Report as my Guardian this day made may be approved and that she be finally discharged from said trust, I having been married to one John Eck, who is over 21 years of age.

To the Honorable the Judge of the Circuit Court of Shelby County Indiana
The undersigned Louisa Ensminger Guardian of Harriet Ensminger one of the heirs of John Ensminger deceased would respectfully show to said Court that since her appointment she received upon sale of wards Real Estate a certain amount of money which said ward received at that time.
That she also received for said ward certain funds from the Estate of her deceased Grandfather Philip
Ensminger, and that she has also received for said ward certain rents since her appointment all of which sums were paid to said ward as they were received.
That she is not accustomed to doing business and has not kept an account by which she is able to give the amounts received and paid out by her for said ward.
That her said ward is now of age towit Twenty one years, and she files herewith the receipt of her said ward in full of all demands and her consent to this her report, that the same be approved and that the undersigned be discharged.
She swears that all accounts against her said ward have been paid. Wherefore she asks said Court that this her report be confirmed and received and that she be discharged from her trust as Guardian of said Harriet
Ensminger.

The undersigned Guardian Louisa Ensminger Guardian of
George Ensminger & Charles Ensminger formerly minor heirs of John Ensminger dec’d respectfully shows to the Court, that since her appointment she received upon sale of lands of said wards a certain amount of money, which said wards received at the time.
That she also received for said wards certain funds from the Estate of the deceased grandfather of said wards Phillip Ensminger and that she also received for said wards certain rents since her appointment all of which sums were paid to said wards as they were received.
That she is not accustomed to doing business and has not kept an account by which she is able to give the amounts received and paid out by her for said wards.
That her said wards are now each over twenty one years old and she files the receipt of each of said wards in full of all demands against her as their said Guardian and their consent to this report and that the same be approved and she further shows that she has paid all costs of this guardianship viz $4.38 and files the Clerks receipt therefore she further shows that she has paid Love & Morrison Attys for making this report the sum of $2.50 and files their receipt therefore and asks that this her final report be approved and that she be discharged.
