I Philip Colclasier of the County of Shelby & State of Indiana being of
sound mind and memory but considering the uncertain of life and certainty of
death do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking void
all other wills by me made
First I devise that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the
first money that may come to the hands of my Executor and as to my worldly
estate that it has pleased God to intrust me with after the payment of my just
debts I dispose of in the following manner
1st I give my daughter Sarah my Ranger Colt
2nd I give my son John C. Freemont my Rifle gun
3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife if she survives me the use of all
my Estate both Real and Personal during her natural life after her decease the
whole of my estate both Real and personal be equally divided between my children
the heirs of my body share and share alike
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of May 1861
