I Mathias
Deitzer of the County of Shelby and State of Indiana do make this my
last Will and Testament as follows, To wit: It is my wish that my Executor as
hereinafter named as soon as he can after my decease pay and discharge all of my
just debts, and such of my property that may remain after my debts are paid. I
will and bequeath the same whether real or personal property to my beloved
wife Kunegunda Deitzer to be for her sole use and benefit.
It is my wish
and I do hereby appoint and nominate my esteemed friend Conrad Schrader
as my executor of this my last will and testament.

whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty third day of May 1872.

Be it remembered that on the 3d day of July 1872 Joseph Levinson one of the
subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last will and Testament of
Mathias Deitzer late of said County, deceased personally appeared before me John
Elliott Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Shelby county in the State of
Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court upon oath declared and
testified as follows, that is to say that on the 23d day of May 1872 he saw the
said Mathias Deitzer sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his
last will and testament and that this deponent at the same time heard the said
Mathias Deitzer declare the said instrument in writing to be his last will and
Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the
request of the said Mathias Deitzer and with his consent attested and subscribed
by the said Christian Weber, Joseph Levinson and Alfred Major in the presence of
said testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses
thereto, and that the said Mathias Deitzer was at the time of the signing and
subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more
than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not
under any coercion or restraint as the said deponent verily believes and further
deponent says not. Joseph Levinson
Sworn to and subscribed by the said Joseph Levinson before me John Elliott
Clerk of said Court at Shelbyville the 3’d day of July 1872.

I John Elliott Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Shelby County, Indiana
do certify that the within annexed will and testament of Mathias Deitzer has
been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of Joseph
Levinson one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete record of said
Will and of the testimony of the said Joseph Levinson in proof thereof has been
by me duly made and recorded in Book No I at pages 340 & 341 of the records
of Wills of said County.
In attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the
seal of said Court at Shelbyville the 3’d day of July 1872
