Last Will and Testament of
Eliza Jane Orr
In vacation
22nd day of August 1856
Be it remembered that the last will of Eliza Jane Orr was filed in the Clerks office of the Court of Common Pleas
which will reads in the words and figuers[sic] as follows to wit
I Eliza Jane Orr of the County of Shelby and State of Indiana do make and publish this my last well testament
first I Direct that my Body be Interd in a Matalic Coffin and sutable head stones be erected to my grave
with inscription 2nd I direct that my Debts and funral Expences be first paid by my Executor.
third I give and bequeth Augusta C Deming George Ann Orr Julyett F McClure
Albert Cooper and Ezra[?] Howard the Sum of fifty dollars Eash to be put at Interest by
Executor Untill each of them arrives to the ages of twenty one years old if either of the above named person die before thay arrive
to the age of twenty one years then there share to return to my heirs fourth I give my Poney Mar to
Alexander V Cooper him to take good care of the same fifth all the remaining property in
money Clothes and Chattles I give Eaquley to my three sisters that is to wit Caroline Q Vanpelt
Harriet Howard and Margaret Cooper Except thirty dollars to Josephine Orr to be
Expended by my Executor for Clothes & notions and ten dollars to Edwin Orr -- and I Do make and ordain
and appoint Hallack Vanpelt my Executor of this my last will and testament in testimoney where of I
Eliza Jane Orr the testatrix have here unto set mey hand and seal this 11th day of May 1856
