Will and Testament of Harriet Shaw
And the Proof thereof

I, Harriet Shaw, of Shelby County, State of Indiana, do make and publish this
my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all former wills made by me.
ITEM 1. It is my will and I hereby direct that all of my just debts be paid
in full by my executor hereinafter named.
ITEM 2. It is my will and I hereby direct my said executor to erect a
monument at my grave provided no monument is erected by me prior to my death
that will answer the purpose.
ITEM 3. I will, bequeath and devise to my sons,
William C. Shaw and John I. Shaw, all the residue of my property, both real and personal and every kind that
is owned by me at the time of my death, share and share alike, and in fee
simple.
ITEM 4. I hereby select and appoint
Robert F. Scott as Executor of this will
to carry into effect the provisions hereof and I direct my said Executor to
employ Anderville Shaw as his attorney to aid and advise him in connection with
this will.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand an seal this 25th day of
March, 1921

The undersigned hereby state that said Harriet Shaw signed the above
instrument and acknowledged the same to be her last will and we hereby witness
her signature to the same at her request, in her presence and in the presence of
each other this 25th day of March, 1921 A.D.

State of Indian, Shelby County, SS:
Be it remembered that on the 4th day of January, A.D. 1923, the 4th judicial
day of the January Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year, come into open
Court Robert H. Shaw and produced in court an instrument in writing purporting
to be the last Will and Testament of Harriet Shaw deceased, and now moved the
admittance thereof to probate and record, and in proof of said Will introduces
Robert H. Shaw one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn by
the Clerk of said Court, on oath, declare and testify as follows, that is to
say: That on the 25th day of March 1921 he saw the said Harriet Shaw sign her
name to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament; and
that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Harriet Shaw declare the
said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament, and that the said
instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Harriet
Shaw and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said Robert H. Shaw and
Wesley Spillman in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each
other, as subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Harriet Shaw was, at
the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as
aforesaid, of full age (that is more than twenty-one years of age) and of sound
and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the
said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

I, Gordon Thurston Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County Indiana, do
hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Harriet Shaw has
been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Robert H.
Shaw, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said
Will, and of the testimony of the said Robert H. Shaw in proof thereof, has been
by me duly made and recorded in Book 8 at pages 166 and 167 of the record of
Wills of said County.
IN ATTESTATION WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the
seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, this 4th day of January, 1923.
