The Last Will of Daniel Michael of Shelby Co. Ind. made this 27th day if August 1839
First, that all Just debts against him should be paid.
Second, that his real estate to remain unsold under the direction of Elizabeth
Michaels, his wife while she remains a widow or until her death, then an
equal division to be made among his lawful heirs.
Third, all personal property after the debts are paid are to be under his
wife’s control and disposal.
Acknowledged in the presence of us on the above day.

Before me Sylvan B. Morris Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court and
Ex-official Clerk of the probate court of Shelby County aforesaid personally
came the above named T. Q. Matthews & James Norvell of said County, of
lawful age and being by me duly sworn upon oath say that the foregoing is the
last will and testament of Daniel Michael (since deceased) that the same was
made in and during the last illness of the said Daniel Michael that he was of
sound mind and disposing memory at the time of making the same and that the said
Testator requested these deponents to bear witness to his said will and that the
same was reduced to writing at the time of making the same and subscribed by
these deponents in his presence on the day and date thereof.
