Last Will and Testament of
Emma L. Neligh
I, Emma L. Neligh, of Shelbyville, Indiana, do hereby make this, my Last Will and Testament, and hereby revoke any and all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
Item lst: I do hereby nominate my husband, Clinton Neligh, to be the Executor of this Will.
Item 2nd: I direct my said Executor to pay all just debts owing by me at the time of my death, also, all funeral expenses, out of the first moneys coming to his hands as such Executor; and, unless the same shall have been sooner done, I hereby direct my said Executor to erect a monument at my grave which shall be a family monument, erected on our family lot in Forest Hill Cemetery at a cost not to exceed One Hundred and Fifty Dollars nor less that One Hundred Dollars.
Item 3rd: Subject to the payment of all just debts owing by me at the time of my death, the expenses of my funeral, payment of the cost of the monument provided for in Item 2nd of this Will, and the payment of costs of Administration of my Estate, I hereby will and bequeath to my beloved husband, Clinton Neligh, all moneys which I may have on hand at the time of my death, all building and loan stock owned by me at the time of my death and the moneys owing to me thereon, and all notes and demands of every kind and character owing to me at the time of my death.
Item 4th: I hereby will, devise and bequeath to my husband, Clinton Neligh, my residence property located at the North West corner of the Intersection of South Street and Miller Avenue, in the City of Shelbyville, Indiana, and all household goods and furniture to me belonging, to have and to hold the same for and during the term of his natural life and for that term only: And, subject to the life-estate of my said husband the said property, hereinabove devised and bequeathed to him, I hereby devise and bequeath said residence property and said household goods and furniture to my three children, Viz: Conrad R. Neligh, Pearl M. Turner and Harry V. Neligh, to have and to hold, the same absolutely and in fee simple, in equal shares. In event that any of my said children should depart this life before the death of my said husband, leaving no issue or descendant of issue, it is my will that the share of such deceased child shall go to my remaining children and the issue or descendants of such as may be the deceased.
Item 5th: I hereby will and bequeath my sewing machine to my daughter, Pearl M. Turner.

Be it remembered, That on the 31st day of August 1915 Robert W. Buxton one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Emma L. Neligh late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, upon his oath, declared and testified as follows, that is to say: That on the 10th day of August 1905 he saw the said Emma L. Neligh sign his [sic] name to the said instrument in writing as and for his[sic]
last Will and Testament, and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Emma L. Neligh declare the said instrument in writing to be his [sic] last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Emma L. Neligh and with his [sic] consent attested and subscribed by the said Robert W. Buxton in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Emma L. Neligh was, at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty-one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

I, Cecil B. Collins Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Emma L. Neligh has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Robert W. Buxton one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said Robert W. Buxton in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 7 at Pages 49-50-51-52 of the record of Wills of said County.
