Last  Will  & Testament

          I, George Robinson of the county of Shelby and state of Indiana do make and publish this my Last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.  First  I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner correspondent with my estate and condition in life; and, as to such Worldly estate as it has pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same in the following manner, towit:  I Direct first that all my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible, out of the first moneys that shall come into the hands of my executor from any protion of my estate real and or personal.  It is my desire, and I do hereby give will and bequeath unto Elisabeth Cage  of the town of Shelbyville, Shelby county Indiana, the wife of  John Cage  of the same place during her natural life all that town Lot in the town of Shelbyville aforesaid known, and designated and described on the plat of said town as Lot No. 20 on Washington Street, and in case the said Elisabeth Cage shall die before the said husband, John Cage, then it is my will and desire that the said Lot vest in and I do hereby will and bequeath the same to the said John Cage during his Natural life, and after the death of the said John Cage and his said wife it is my will and desire that the Probate Court of Shelby County ex officio or upon the application of any person concerned, or in behalf of any person concerned do appoint three discreet persons to value the said Lot and deliver to my Executor or the person then having the charge of the execution of this my Last will a succinct statement of their said valuation.  And I do hereby authorise my said Executor or person so having charge of the Execution of this my said Last will and testament to sell the said Lot in the best possible manner and make to the purchaser thereof a deed conveying the same in fee-simple and the proceeds of the said sale I will and bequeath in the following manner towit:  I give and bequeath two thirds thereof to William Coyle Cage, son of the said John and Elisabeth Cage, and to the heirs of the said William forever.  And I give and bequeath the remaining third to the rest of the children of the said John Cage and Elisabeth the issue of their boddies jointly and to their heirs forever, and in case that said William Coyle Cage shall not survive the said John and Elisabeth Cage his parents then the share of the proceeds of the sale of said Lot above bequeathed to him shall at the death of the said John and Elisabeth Cage vest in the said children of the said John and Elisabeth and their heirs forever equally;  It is my intention to include in the term "children of the said John & Elisabeth (Cage)" Not only such as are now living but the future issue of their boddies jointly.  And I do further give and bequeath to the said William Coyle Cage his heirs and assigns forever, the following tract of Land towit  the South East Quarter of the South East Quarter of section ninteen  township 13 North  of Range seven east containing forty acres, Together with all the improvements hereditaments and appurtunances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and provided the said William shall not survive me  I do will and bequeath the said Last described tract of forty acres to the said John Cage his heirs and assigns forever.  And Provided neither the said William nor the said John Shall survive me  I do will and bequeath the said Last described tract in equal proportions to the children of the said John and Elisabeth Cage which they now have or may Jointly have hereafter, and to their heirs and assigns of said children forever.  And I do further give and bequeath to the said John Cage and his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of Land situate Lying and being in the township of Franklin county of Alegheny and state of Pennsylvania containing fifty acres which I purchased from  William Jones, being taken off the North end of the tract of said William Jones, Bounded on the south by the said tract of the said William Jones, on the east by the Lands of Thomas Holman & on the west it is my opinion impression by Congress Land, such at least it is my belief were the owners of the said boundary Lands three years ago.  But provided the said John Cage shall not survive me I do in such case hereby give and bequeath the said Last described tracts with all its improvements and appurtunances in equal proportions to the said Elisabeth and all her children begotten by the said John and to their heirs and assigns forever.  The house built on the said Last described tract is situated at the point, where the three roads cross each other which lead from Pittsburg to Beaver, Harmony, and  John Houler's Esquire and is now occupied by  Peter Boley.  And whereas I sometime since sold to  William Dobson,  John Grant   Greenwood Bell  and  Joseph McCracken of Clearfield county Pennsylvania a tract of Land in said county for eight hundred dollars containing four hundred acres and impowered one Moses Kennon [could be Lennon] of the town of Ebbinsburg County of Cambria and State of Pennsylvania to receive the said sum of eight hundred dollars for me and to execute to the purchasers thereof a deed of conveyance for the same.  I do will and bequeath the two thirds of the said sum of eight hundred dollars or in case the sale of the said Land be not consumated and the purchase money paid then the two thirds of the said Land to the said William Coyle Cage his heirs and assigns forever, and I do give and bequeath the other third part whether of the said Land or the purchase money thereof, towit  the said sum of Eight hundred dollars in equal proportions among the other children of the said John Cage & Elisabeth his wife which they now have or may have hereafter.  And in case the said William Shall not survive me I will and bequeath his share of the said eight hundred dollars or of the said Land to the said children of the said John & Elisabeth which they now have or may herafter Jointly have, their heirs and assigns forever, to be divide equally among them and in case neither of them shall survive me then to the said Elisabeth Cage her heirs and assigns forever & in case she shall not survive me then to the said John Cage his heirs and assigns forever.  And I do hereby will and bequeath to the said John Cage his heirs and assigns forever all the residue of my estate to which I shall in any wise be entitled at the time of my death whether the same be real or personal or Legal or equitable, in possession or remainder or reversion or in action or otherwise.  And in case the said John do not survive me then I do will and bequeath the said residue to the said Elisabeth Cage her heirs or assigns forever & in case neither of them survive me then to their children both which they now have or may hereafter have jointly.  And I do hereby make and ordain my worthy and esteemed friend John Cage Executor and Elisabeth his wife Executrix of this my Last will and testament.  In witness whereof I George Robinson the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of November 1833.

          Signed, sealed and published and declared by the above named George Robinson as his Last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator and in presence of each other.

          Personally appeared in open court before the Honl Erasmus Powell Judge of the Probate court of said county  R. S. Cummins Surviving Witness to the foregoing will, and being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he heard and saw George Robinson sign seal publish and declare the foregoing writing as his Last will and testament that he was of sound mind and memory at the time of its execution that he signed his name thereto as Witness in the presence and at the request of the said Testator, and that he saw H. F. Robison who has since deceased sign his name thereto as witness in the presence of said Testator.
