Last  Will  and  Testament
of
Mary  A  Hacker


            I  Mary A. Hacker  of Shelby County in the State of Indiana do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

Item 1.  I direct that as soon after my decease as possible all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my personal Estate.

Item 2.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter  Amanda Randall  the sum of Six hundred and fifty Dollars, the same to be paid to her in cash.

Item 3.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter  Eliza V. Jennings  the note for Four hundred Dollars heretofore on March 15th 1890  executed by her and her husband  Thorp B. Jennings  to my husband  William Hacker  now deceased, and which not[e] was subsequently on the 25th day of July 1891 devised and bequeathed to me by my said husband.  I also give and devise to her the said Eliza V. Jennings the sum of Two hundred and fifty Dollars, the same to be paid to her in cash.

Item 3.[stet]  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter  Laura M. Fleming  the sum of Six hundred and fifty Dollars the same to be paid to her in cash.

Item 4.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter  Belle Conrey  the note for Six hundred Dollars heretofore on April 30th 1887 executed by  J. A. Conrey  and  D. L. Conrey  to my husband  William Hacker  now deceased, and which note was subsequently on the 25th day of July 1891 devised and bequeathed to me by my said husband.  I also give, devise and bequeath to her the said Belle Conrey the sum of Fifty Dollars to be paid to her in cash.

Item 5.  I give, devise and bequeath to my son  Thomas S. Hacker  the sum of Nine hundred Dollars, the same to be paid to him in cash.

Item 6.  I give, devise and bequeath to  Thomas S. Hacker and Jacob A. Conrey as Trustees, the Five hundred Dollars of Bank Stock of the First National Bank of Shelbyville in the State of Indiana devised and bequeathed to me by my late husband William Hacker, now deceased and now owned by me, to have and to hold the same in trust for the sole use, behoof and benefit of the children of my son  William A. Hacker.  And I further direct that said Trustees, Thomas S. Hacker and Jacob A. Conrey, shall immediately upon my decease take the possession of and look after and manage said Stock, collect all profits, interests and dividends arising therefrom, and Semi-annually to pay the same to said children if they be of age, and if they or any of them be minors then to pay the same to their legal representative taking their receipt therefor.  And I direct that the said Thomas S. Hacker and Jacob A. Conrey continue to act as such Trustees, look after and manage said Stock, collect all profits, interests and dividends arising therefrom, and semi-annually to pay the same over to said children as above stated until the youngest of said children shall arrive at the age of Twenty one years, at which time I direct that said Thomas S. Hacker and Jacob A. Conrey as such Trustees shall turn over said stock, to said children and that said Stock shall then be divided among said children share and share alike.

Item 7.  I give, devise and bequeath to my grandson  Garrett [Garnett] Fleming  the gold watch which I now own.

Item 8.  I direct that all of my house hold goods, and all other personal property of which I may die seized not herein before bequeathed be divided dqually among all my children and in the event any of my children should died before my decease then I direct that such share that would have gone to them shall go to their heirs.

            Be It Remembered that on the 22nd day of July 1902, the undersigned Everet E. Stroup one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Wll and Testament of Mary A. Hacker late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before Frank Glessner, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, upon his oath, declared and testified as foolows, that is to say:  That on the 25th day of January 1892, he saw the said Mary A. Hacker sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament and that this deponent, at the same time, head the said Mary Hacker declare the said instrument in writing to be hwe last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Mary A. Hacker and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said Everet E. Stroup and G.W.F. Kirk in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Mary A. Hacker was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

            I Frank Glessner Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Mary A. Hacker has been duly admitted probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Everet E. STroup in proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 4 at pages 233, 234 and 235 of the record of Wills of said County.
            In attestation Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the sial of said Court, at Shelbyville, this 22nd day of July 1902.
