Last Will and Testament
of
Harry G. Law, deceased
Know all men by these presents that I, Harry G. Law, of Shelby County,
Indiana, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby declare and make
and desire the following to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking
any and all former wills at any time heretofore made by me.
Item 1. I will and direct that all my just debts, including my funeral
expenses and the expenses of the administration of my estate under this will
be paid by my executor from any moneys available therefor from my estate.
Item 2. I will and direct that my Executor shall sell my farm and all
other property owned by me, except the house and lot owned by me in the City
of Shelbyville, Indiana, and located at No. 625 West Colescott Street in said
City, and from the proceeds of such sale said Executor is directed to pay off
a mortgage now existing upon my said City real estate; and I hereby will and
devise my said house and lot located at No. 625 West Colescott Street in
Shelbyville, Indiana, to my beloved brother Alonso Law for and during the
term of his natural life, free from said mortgage lien, the said mortgage to
be paid as above directed by my said Executor and the fee simple of said
house and lot I will and devise to the children of the said Alonso Law now
living absolutely. I also will and bequeath to my said Brother Alonso Law
the sum of Five Hundred dollars, to be paid to him by said Executor.
Item 3. I will and bequeath to my brother Elza Law the sum of Two Thousand dollars to be paid to him by my said Executor.
Item 4. I will and bequeath to my beloved sister Carrie Pile the sum of Five Hundred dollars to be paid to her by my executor.
Item 5. I will and devise to my beloved sister Daisy Chesser the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, to be paid to her by my said executor.
Item 6. All the residue of my estate remaining after the payment of the
charges and bequests named and provided by the foregoing five Items of this
will as above willed and devised I will and bequeath to my brothers, Alonso
Law and Elza Law and my beloved sisters Carrie Pile, Laura Wertz and Daisy
Chesser equally, share and share alike.
Item 7. I hereby appoint my friend Harry A. Hageman as Executor of this
my last Will and Testament and request that he have Albert F. Wray to act as
his attorney in the administration of my Estate and the settement thereof
under this Will.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24" day
of October 1919.

The foregoing instrument is this day signed and declared by the above
named Harry G. Law as his last Will and Testament in our presence and is
hereto signed by us in his presence and in the presence of each other and at
his request as attesting witnesses there.

Be it remembered that on the 30" day of October A.D. , 1919 the
judicial day of the October Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year,
come into open Court Harry A. Hageman and produces in Court an instrument in
writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Harry G. Law,
deceased, and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record, and in
proof of said Will introduces Albert F. Wray one of the subscribing witnesses
thereto being sworn by the Clerk of said Court, on oath, declare and testify
as follows, that is to say: That on the 24th day of October 1919 he saw the
said Harry G. Law sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his
last Will and Testament, and that same time, heard the said Harry G. Law
declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and
that the said instrument ---------------------------(illegible) at the same
time at the request of the said Harry G. Law and with his consent attested
and subscribed by the said Albert F. Wray and Mrs. Nellie Armstrong in the
presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing
witnessesthereto, and that the said Harry G. Law, was, at the time of the
signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full
age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing
mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said
deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

Thurston Clerk of said Court, at Shelbyville Indiana the 30th day of October
1919.

Whereupon it is ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that said
instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of Harry G. Law
deceased, is the last Will and Testament of Hary G. Law deceased, and is
hereby admitted to probate and reocrd in this Court.

I, Gordon Thurston, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County,
Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of
Harry G. Law has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the
testimony of Albert F. Wray one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a
complete record of said will, and of the testimony of the said Albert F.Wray
in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 7 at Pages
439 & 440 of the record of Wills of said County.
IN Attestation Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed
the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, this 30" day of October,
1919.
