Will  and  Testament
of
Henry  S. Cory


          I,  Henry Cory  of the city of Shelbyville, Shelby County Indiana, do hereby make, declare and publish the following as my last Will and Testament.

Item 1.   I will and direct that all of my just debts, funeral expenses and the expenses of the administration of my estate be first paid by my Executors hereinafter named.

Item 2.   I will, devise and bequeath to my wife  Elise P. Cory  all of the residue of my estate and property of every kind and description owned by me at the time of my death.  The real estate to be held and owned by her in fee simple and the personal property to be held and owned by her absolutely.

Item 3.   I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Elise P. Cory as Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.

Item 4.   I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

          In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of November, 1913.

          Signed, sealed and acknowledged by the said Henry S. Cory as his last will and Testament in our presence and signed by us as attesting witnesses thereto at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other this 22nd day of November, 1913.

          Be it remembered, that on the 13 day of April, A.D. 1915 the   judicial day of the February term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year, come into open Court H. S. Downey and produces in open Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Henry S. Cory, deceased, and now moves the administration thereof to probate and record, and in proof of said Will introduces Jacob G. DePrez, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, on oath, declare and testify as follows, that is to say: That on the 22nd day of November, 1913 he saw the said Henry S. Cory sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament; and that this deponent, at the same time heard the said Henry S. Cory declare the same instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Henry S. Cory and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said Jacob G. DePrez and John Messick in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Henry S. Cory was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty-one years of age) and of sound mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

          Sworn to and subscribed by the said Jacob DePrez before me Cecil B.Collins, Clerk of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, the 13 day of April 1915.

          Whereupon it is ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of Henry S. Cory deceased, is the last Will and Testament of Henry S. Cory deceased, and is hereby admitted to probate and record in this Court.

          I, Cecil B. Collins Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby Certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Henry S. Cory has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Jacob G. DePrez one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said Jacob G. DePrez in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at Pages 572, 573, 574 of the record of Wills of said County.
          In Attestation Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, this 13 day of April 1915.
