I Margaret Kynes of Union Township Shelby County and State of Indiana, being of sound mind and disposing memory make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First I desire after my death that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and that a suitable inscription be placed upon the family monument erected for my husband and myself.
Second After the above provision is carried out I will and bequeath all the residue of my property both Real and personal to my four children
Mary Ann Phares, Cynthia A. Gunning, Anna M. Zike and
Sarah E. Fair to be divided between them equally share and share alike.
Third I have not made any provisions for my grand children whose parents are dead for reasons to me satisfactory and not that I have less regard for them than other members of my family.
Fourth I nominate William Gunning as the Executor of this my last Will

Signed and acknowledged by Margaret Kynes as her last Will in our presence and signed by us in her presence and in the presence of each other this August 8" 1892

Be it remembered that on the 18" day of November 1893 the 42 judicial day of the October Term of the Shelby Circuit Court said year come into open court William Gunning and produces in Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Margaret Kynes deceased and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record and in proof of said Will introduces K. M. Hord one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court on oath declares and testifies as follows, that is to say; that on the 8" day of August 1892 he saw the said Margaret Kynes make her mark to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament, and that this deponent at the same time heard the said Margaret Kynes declare the said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of the said Margaret Kynes and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said K. M. Hord and Ed K. Adams in the presence of said Testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Margaret Kynes was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any coercion or restraint as the said deponent verily believes and further deponent says not

Whereupon it is ordered adjudged and decreed by the Court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of Margaret Kynes deceased is the last will and Testament of Margaret Kynes deceased and is hereby admitted to probate and record in this Court

I John R. Sedgwick Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County Indiana do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Margaret Kynes deceased has been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of K. M. Hord in proof thereof one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete record of said Will and of the testimony of the said K. M. Hord in proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 3 at pages 142 & 143 of the record of Wills of said County.
In attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court at Shelbyville this 18" day of November 1893.
