Last Will and Testament
of
Lida J. Caughey
Know all men by these presents, that I Lida J. Caughey,
being of sound and disposing mind and memory and realizing the uncertainty of life, do hereby make and declare
the following to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all other Wills at any time heretofore
made by me.
Item 1. I will and direct that all my just debts,
including expenses of my last sickness and burial, the expenses of administration of my estate under this Will,
and the purchase and placing at my grave of a marker of like size and kind as the markers at the graves of my parents
and brother on our family lot in Forest Hill Cemetery, shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter named out of any
money available from my estate.
Item 2. I will and dispose of the residue of
my personal property and estate that my remain after the payment therefrom of the debts and charges named in item
1 above, as follows: I will and bequeath to my beloved second cousin Miss Flora Winkle, of Richmond Indiana,
twenty (20) shares of the Capital Stock of the Farmers National Bank of Shelbyville Indiana, owned by me; I will
and bequeath to my beloved friend Mrs. Mary Clementine Seager, of New York City, if she be living
at my death, the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars, but if she shall not survive me, then I will and bequeath the
said sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars also to my cousin the said Flora Winkle; I will and bequeath to my esteemed
friend Mrs. Ira Wert the sum of Five Hundred Dollars and all of my household goods that may be in
her home at my death; I will and bequeath to my esteemed friend Miss Jennie McAdams, of Lafayette
Indiana, the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty dollars ($250.00), and my Garnet Pin. I will and bequeath to my
friend David H. Whitcomb my silver cake basket which formerly belonged to Uncle Thomas Caughey.
Item 3. I will and bequeath to my said cousin
Flora Winkle, all the residue of my personal property and estate remaining, after the payment of the debts and
charges mentioned in Item 1 and the bequests mentioned in Item 2 above from my estate as directed therein, said
residue and remainder to be her absolute property.
Item 4. I hereby nominate and appoint my friend
Albert F. Wray as the Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal this 6" day of August 1920.

The foregoing instrument is this day signed and
declared by the above named Lida J. Caughey to be her last Will and testament in our presence together is hereto
signed by us in her presence and in the presence of each other and at her request as Attesting witnesses thereto.
