Last  Will  and  Testament
of
Sarah J.  Irish

          I,  Sarah J. Irish  at this time a resident of the City of Shelbyville Shelby County in the State of Indiana do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking any and all other wills by me heretofore made. 

          Item 1.  I direct that as soon as possible after my decease all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate by my executor hereinafter named.

          Item 2.  I give, devise and bequeath to my grand son William C. Martin, the sum of One Thousand Dollars to be paid to him in cash out of my estate, except that there shall be deducted therefrom the sum of $65.00 which sum of $65.00 so to be deducted therefrom is the amount of a doctor's bill I paid for him to Dr. George W. Fleming of Shelbyville Ind.
          This bequest I make to him the said William C. Martin to be in full of any and all claims and demands he may have an attempt to assert against me and my estate.
          In the event my said Grandson William C. Martin shall file any claim against my estate then and in that event it is my will and I do hereby direct that this item shall be null and void and that he shall take nothing by this item of my Will.

          Item 3.  After the payment of all of my Just debts and funeral expenses as provided for in Item one above, and the bequest as provided for in Item Two above, I give, devise and bequesth all of my estate, both real and personal that shall remain to my beloved daughter Ella C. Adams, to have and to hold as her individual property forever in fee simple.

          Item 4.  I do hereby constitute and appoint Evert E. Stroup as Executor of my last Will and Testament.

          In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16" day of March 1910.

          Be It Remembered that in the 22" day of March A.D. 1913 the 42" Judicial day of the February Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year come into open Court Everet E. Stroup and produces in Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Sarah J. Irish deceased and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record and in proof of said Will introduces Woodville B. Kirk one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court on oath declare and testify as follows, that is to say:  That on the 16" day of March 1910 he saw the said Sarah J. Irish sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament and that his deponent at the same time heard the said Sarah J. Irish declare the said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of said Sarah J. Irish and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said Woodville B. Kirk and one Catherine Von Weaver in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing Witnesses thereto and that the said Sarah J. Irish was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes and further deponent says not.

          Whereupon it is ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of said Sarah J. Irish deceased is the last Will and Testament of Sarah J. Irish deceased and is hereby admitted to probate and recorded in this Court.

          I Otto L. Coyle Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County Indiana do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Sarah J. Irish had been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of  Woodville B. Kirk one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete record of said Will and of the testimony of the said  Woodville B. Kirk in proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at pages [285-286-287] of the record of Wills of said County.

          In Attestation Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court at Shelbyville Indiana this 22" day of March 1913.
