In the name of god amen I thomas Wray of shelby County and state of indiana being very sick and weake in body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto god Calling unto mind the mortality of my body knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my laste will and testament that is to say principally an firste of all I give and recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discertion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general rezerrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of god & as tuching such worldly astate where with it has pleased god to bless me in this life I give demise an despose of the same in the following manner an forme firste I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Wray my dearly beloved Wife all my land an houses and all my goods and all my moveable property such as stocks horses Cattle sheep an hogs I all so give and bequeath to my dear beloved wife Elizabeth all the munney that I have by me at this time all so the astate that I have left to my wife Elizabeth she shall hold for her safty of mintainance unless she thinks there is more property then is nesceary so that it is Expencieve if so it shall then be in the power of my executor to fall asail and sell such property as my wife Elizabeth shall think proper to give up all so it tis my requeste that Hutson Ray and James Wray shall

I Hiram Alldredge Clerk of the Probate Court within and for said County Do Certify that on the 4th day of January 1830 Barna Ray (the witness to the within Last Will and testament of Thomas Ray decd) Came into open court and made oath that he Saw Thomas Ray Sign Seal Publish and declare the within instrument as and for his Last will and testament, that he believed the Said Thomas Ray was of perfect Sence and memory at the Execution thereof ----
