Bythe E Means ss Be it remembered, That on this 25 day of January, 1888, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit: State of Indiana, to-wit: Shelby County, ss: TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES: You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife Eli Means and Bythe E. Means and for so doing this shall be your sufficient authority. In Testimony whereof, I Thomas S Jones, Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court, hereunto subscribe my name and affix the seal of said Court at Shelbyville, this 25 day of January, 1888 Signed by Thomas S. Jones State of Indiana, to-wit: Shelby County This certifies tht I joined in marriage as Husand and Wife Eli Means and Bythe E. Means on the 26th day of January, 1888.
