The town of Beech Grove was on US Hwy 52, southeast of Gwynneville, on the north side of the highway. Beech Grove was the site of the
first Gwynneville Christian Church, although it had another name then. There
actually were a lot of Beech trees, and the building was picked up and moved
sometime near the turn of the century (19th-20th) to Gwynneville. Then it
was moved again (50 or so feet north) for the new building. Jill Knitl
Per the Rush Co history book, Beech Grove was "just east of Arlington". Arlington in on the western edge of Rush Co, IN. Based on Jill's description, Beech Grove would have been in the southeast quarter of Section 16, or about 780 East and 920 North. - pmf
