Four Suits File By
One Law Firm.
----------
(From Thursday's Daily.)
Another land deal forms the basis for a suit in which the plaintiff is Elizabeth P. Bales and the defendants Edward H. Chadwick, an attorney of this city, and Ada Bales Shepherd. The land in question consists of 79 acres in Jennings county. The deed for this land, the plaintiff alleges, has been wrongfully held by the defendants since October 23, 1909, at which time it was signed by the plaintiffs. Tho admitting she signed the deed, the plaintiff declares it was never delivered or executed. She seeks to replevin the deed and demands $1,000 unless it is returned to her. She also asks damages in the sum of $100 and declares the deed is now in the possession of Mr. Chadwick.
