PERSONALS.

          Ed Berauer,  our genial agent, has as usual refused one of the best positions on the Chicago division of the Big Four, which was the agency at Fowler, Ind., paying over $1,200 per annum.  The only reason, he says, is he has not enough sense to leave Waldron.  Ed is generally approached when there is anything open on the line and has refused over twenty promotions in that number of years.
