HUSBAND STAYED AWAY AT NIGHT
----------
Mrs. Marie Boger, of Shelby township, has filed a complaint
against Paul F. Boger, in the Shelby circuit court for a divorce and the
custody of their small child. Mr. and Mrs. Boger have been separated since March
31, 1923. They were married July 27, 1921.
The plaintiff is represented by
William A. Yarling attorney. She
charges that Mr. Boger remained away from home until three or four o’clock in
the morning spending the time in gambling. He refused to provide clothing for
their baby, failed to pay the household rent or buy groceries and only bought
Mrs. Boger one hat and some shoes during their marriage, she says. Mrs. Boger
also alleges that her husband mortgaged the household goods and that property
was taken from the home when he failed to make the payments on the loans.
Mrs. Boger states she was compelled to go to the home of her
parents because of the defendant’s mistreatment. The Boger's live on Elm street
in this city.
