PLAN TO SPRING SURPRISE WEDDING

Young Couple Plan Marriage Quietly

Shelbyville
-- Few Have Been Told the Plans.

(From Wednesday's Daily.)
A surprise wedding has
been arranged between Jesse Epperson and Miss Winifred
Burkett, at the home of Mrs. W. W. Hagen, 40 west Pennsylvania
street tomorrow night. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev. G. W.
Winfrey who lives at that place also. Only a few of the intimate
friends of the parties have been told of the intended wedding, the plan being to
keep the matter a secret until after the ceremony had been performed. Mrs.
Ora Burkett of Chicago arrived in the city a few days ago ostensibly
the guest of her sister Mrs. Hagens, and it is understood that she came
here to attend the wedding of her daughter Winifred.
