Shelbyville, Ind., Dec. 13.- Miss May Ferrier, the daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. John Ferrier, was burned in a horrible manner at the home of her parents last evening, while blacking a stove with a blackning containing gasoline.  The fire in the stove had not been extinguished, as she had supposed, and when she applied the blacking it ignited, enveloping the girl in flames.  Her face and hands were horribly burned, and it is feared she will die.
