One of the hardest fights
that ever took place in the county, occurred two miles south of this city, on
the Norristown turnpike, between three and four o'clock Saturday afternoon,
between Mose Hall of Washington township, and his
brother, Sol Hall. There were going home in a wagon together,
with several other parties, and a dispute arose between them, which culminated
in a terrible fight in which Mose was terribly pummeled. Both the men were
under the influence of liquor.
