          Joseph Hanawalt  and  Nancy Bennett  were married on Wednesday of last week.  The youthful couple will reside in Headlee for the present.  They are each nearly, if not quite, three score years and ten.  Let that be as it may, we join in wishing them many more happy years.

          William Hanawalt  and wife are the happy owners of a pair of twins -- boy and girl.  They and the mother are doing fine, but William says that the chances for a good night's rest at their house is not as good as it has been, for when one baby cries the other cries also.

          Abram Hanawalt  and  Mrs. Mary Baum,  both of this city, were married at the bride's home on Water street, Monday night at 10 o'clock by the Rev. Isaac Dale.  A company of immediate relatives and friends were present.  The youghtful party went on the midnight train to Greenscastle, where they will be the guests of  Prof. Frank Hanawalt  and other friends.  They will return home in about ten days.

          Married at the home of the bride on Water street, Monticello, Ind., on Monda night, Dec. 24th, 1894, by Rev. Isaac Dale,  Mr. Abram Hanawalt and  Mrs. Mary Baum,  all of White county.  the contracting parties took the midnight train south for a short visit at the home of the groom's son,  Prof. Frank W. Hanawalt,  at Greencastle.  Both are well and favorably known here, and the HERALD joins their many friends to wishing them a smooth matrimonial voyage.
