Today Attorneys Meiks & Hack, representing Susan F. Hannahan filed
in the circuit court a complaint asking for a divorce from Thomas H. Hannahan.
The allegations are that the defendant is guilty of habitual drunkenness and
that he has treated the plaintiff in a cruel and inhuman manner.
It is charged specifically that he has cursed her and her children, and that
at one time he ran her off the premises at the point of a pistol.
The parties reside in Sugar Creek township, near
Boggstown. At one time they
lived in Shelbyville. A restraining order was served on Hannahan today by
Sheriff Ritchey.
