The liquor and grocery establishment of James Hardin had been destroyed by a group charged for riot etc... No names were listed, but most of the damage was to Mr. Hardin's liqour stock. Several shots had been fired, no one was killed but one was wounded....... The Methodist
Meeting House had received some bullets through its upper front windows. Several liquor and molasses barrels had been stoved in.
