          Mr. & Mrs. Edgar Hoban were guests at the home of  Mr. & Mrs. Donald R. Hoban
of Eberhart Drive in Wellington Heights for a birthday celebration for their great grandson, Andy
Shawn Hoban, who was one-year-old.  Other guests were the grandparents,  Mr. & Mrs. Jack
Ivie and  Mr. & Mrs. Cedric Hoban.  Also present were Penny  and  Terri Ivie  and  Patrick  Hoban  and   Mr. & Mrs. Jim Schuerman  of Plainfield.

REV. PADDOCK  SPEAKS
AT  NOBLE  PTA  MEET

          "Analysis of a Child" was the subject of an address given by  Rev. James Padock  at a meeting of the Noble township Parent-Teacher Association Tuesday evening at the school building.
          The evening's program was under direction of the school bus drivers and opened with singing of "America" and devotions by  Mrs. Albert Hoban.  A solo was sung by  Miss Allene Bass  and a selection was played by a trio composed of  Garnett and Joe Patterson  and  Raymond Kelley.  A duet was sung by  Martha and  Rosella Hatton  and a humorous reading was given by  George Tucker.
          Light refreshments were served at the close of the session.

          Mrs. Hopkins Hoban  is in receipt of a letter from her son,  Bernard,  who is in the Philipines, in which he states that he is very well pleased with his surrounding.  Bernard is doing service for "Uncle Sam."
