HUSBAND LEFT
WIFE CHARGES
----------
Elizabeth M. Hobbs, of East Franklin street, has filed a complaint for
divorce against Fred G. Hobbs, in the Shelby Circuit Court. She asks for
the custody of their son and for an allowance of $10 a week for support.
The complaint states that the couple was married January 7, 1922, and
separated in September, 1924. Mrs. Hobbs states that her husband told her that
he did not love her and would not live with her and that he was sorry that he
had married her. The wife asserts that her husband refused to provide for her
and told her to get a divorce. She also says that he informed her to go work,
and he did not intend to provide for her or the child.
