FILED PETITION FOR
ALLOWANCE IN CASE
----------
(From Tuesday’s Daily)
----------
Mrs. Rosa Holmes, of Indianapolis, defendant in the complaint for a
divorce, filed by Ellis Holmes, in the Shelby circuit court, has entered
a petition in the case, asking an allowance. Will A. Yarling, of this city, is
the attorney for Mrs. Holmes in the case.
An allowance of $150 to meet the expenses of defense in the trial of
complaint is demanded by Mrs. Holmes in the petition. She asserts that she
operates a rooming house in Indianapolis from which she has an income of $75 a
month, but that she is unable to save anything. She also alleges the plaintiff
has possession of their household furniture and refuses to give her the
property.
