YOUNG PEOPLE
WILL ORGANIZE
----------
League of White Water Presbytery to Be
Formed at Meeting at Rushville.
-------
The Young People's League
of the White Water Presbytery will be organized at a meeting of the young people
of the churches in the Presbytery, to held Friday evening and Saturday, April 16
and 17, at Rushville. Several of the young people of the local
Presbyterian church will be present at the Rushville meeting, and will have part
in the program.
It is explained that the
purpose of the organization is to provide an opportunity for fellowship among
the young people of the same age from many churches; to develop initiative and
leadership; to become familiar with the program of the Presbyterian church, and
to undertake special enterprises in behalf of the young people of the church.
Friday evening a banquet
for the visiting young people will be served in the Rushville church. The
visiting delegates are to be entertained in the homes of Rushville people.
Graham Lemmon and Ralph Briggs, both of the
local church, will attend the meeting, and will have a part in the program which
has been arranged for Saturday.
