DIVORCE  GRANTED

          Adam F. May, of this city, was granted a divorce in the Shelby Circuit Court today from Sara May.  The decree was granted by Albert F. Wray, who had been appointed special judge in the case.  The costs in the case were taxed against Mr. May.

MAY  DIVORCE  SUIT    
        HAS  BEEN  FILED

          Adam F. May, of Teal street, has filed a complaint for a divorce in the Shelby Circuit Court against Sarah May.  Alonzo Blair represents the plaintiff. A suit which was filed by Mr. May several months ago was recently dismissed.  The couple was married October 30, 1923, and separated February 13, 1924.

          Adam F. May, of this city, was granted a decree of divorce in the Shelby Circuit Court today from Mrs. Velera Trudent May, of Indianapolis.  The husband charged that his wife abandoned him.  The trial of the case occupied not more than ten minutes.

WIFE  DENIED  DIVORCE
ALLEGED  IN  COMPLAINT

          Abandonment and cruel treatment are charged by Adam F. May, 719 Teal street, prominently known resident of this city and county, in a complaint against  Mrs. Velera Trudence May for a divorce, which has been filed in the Shelby circuit court.  Mr. May is represented by ex-Judge Blair, as attorney in the case.
          The defendant is charges with having said she did not care for the plaintiff and would not live with him.  She is also alleged to have struck her husband at various times.  The couple was married April 12, 1914, and separated December 12, 1920.
          Mr. May asserts that his wife filed a complaint in the Marion county court against him in August, 1921, for a divorce and that the case was tried in February, 1922, and the divorce was refused.
