THREE  BIRTHDAY  PARTIES
----------
(From Monday's Daily.)
Elijah McClintic,  a popular young business man of this city, was given a surprise dinner at his home, 61 west Jackson street, Sunday, in honor of his thirty-sixth birthday anniversary by a number of his friends and relatives.  A fine dinner was enjoyed at the noon hour and the afternoon passed pleasantly with thte[sic] guests engaging in social conversation.
Mr. McClintic was really surprised as he had been taken up town early in the morning by a relative and the guests gathered during his absence and were ready with hearty greetings on his return.  Among those present were  Mr. and Mrs. John McClintic,  of Indianapolis, and  Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Neligh,  Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Theobald,  and  Mr. and Mrs. William Spraggy,  of this city.
Note:  The article then transitions to a  Major  family reunion.
