          At yesterday's services at the First Presbyterian Church in the morning, five persons were received on profession of faith and there was one baptism of a child whose parents were among those who were received into membership.  There was a large attendance.  In the evening Mr. Pfanstiehl was at his best in a discourse for young men on the theme "The Manliness of Christ."  It was a masterly effort and the very large congregation gave it close attention.
