Morristown Club to Give 3 Scholarships Tonight
----------
          Winners of the club's annual scholarship awards and other outstanding pupils of Morristown high school will be honored at a banquet of the Morristown Community Club in Dodd's memorial hall at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, when the club will conclude its winter season of activities.
          Winners of the three club scholarships were revealed Saturday night at a banquet of the high school alumni association.  Miss Mary Branche* Poer, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. David Poer, won the first prize award of $150 to be used as a scholarship to any Indiana college or university, while the second and third prizes of $100 each went to  Margaret Engleking, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Engleking, and  Dorothy Smith, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Smith.
          The scholarship contest is conducted annually on an election basis, with ballots listing the eligible pupils being sold for $1.00 to raise, the necessary funds.   (Continued on Page Eight)

          Chauncey  K. Poer,  of Hanover township, is a candidate for the office of Representative from Shelby county to the Indiana legislature, subject to the decision of the democratic voters at the primary election, to be held Tuesday, May 4, 1926.

David Poer at Gwynneville Will Be-
come a Benedict.
----------
          It has been announced that  David Poer  of near Gwynneville, former State representative from Shelby county, will be married before many months have passed to  Miss Myrtle Poer  of Hendricks county.  Mr. Poer is a prominent young farmer and has long taken an active interest in politics.  He was one of the youngest representatives in the State legislature.
