Willis Pollard  is under $1,000 bond, charged with assault and battery with intent to kill  Arthur Franks, and  William Roan  is under $500 bond, charged with assault and battery, as a result of a fight early Sunday morning over  Mrs. Francis, who has been separated from her husband.  Franks watched outside a rooming house, which Pollard and Mrs. Franks had entered.  Roan and Pollard came out and beat him, the police say.  Mrs. Franks, who has an appeal pending in the Circuit Court from a conviction of neglecting her children, is charge with a statutory of fine.  Hearing is set for Friday.

SERVED  WITH  ORDER.
------------
Henry Pollard, Jr., Under the Order of Court Restraining Him from Getting Children.
------------
From Tuesday's Daily.
Yesterday Deputy Sheriff  Jack Ritchey  served a restraining order on  Henry Pollard, Jr., who is defendant in divorce proceedings.  The order was issued by Judge  Sparks  and commands Pollard not to use force or violence, and not to attempt to take possession of his two children until the court has heard the evidence in the divorce case.
Readers of the Democrat will remember the Mrs. Pollard alleges that her husband imprisoned her and that he had threatened to use violence.  Also, that  Ora Herron  and Pollard came very near fighting when the latter met Herron bringing the wife and children to this city.  One of the children affected by the order is two years old, the other five months.
