The Shelbyville DemocratMrs. Stella Ross has been granted a divorce from William T. Ross in the Shelby circuit court and she was awarded custody of the child. Mr. Ross was ordered to pay $5 a week for the support of the child and must pay the plaintiff $40 for the fee of her attorney.

The Shelbyville RepublicanDivorce actions, filed by Mrs. Stella Ross against William Ross were entered today in the Shelby circuit court by Cheney & Tolen, attorneys for the plaintiff.

DIVORCE ACTIONS
ARE STARTED IN COURT

Mrs. Ross asks the decree of divorce, the custody of a son, Virgil, 8 years old and payment of support for herself and child. She charges the defendant abandoned her April 10, 1920, since which time the couple has not lived together. Mrs. Ross alleges that previous to the separation, the defendant kept company with other women, was away from home at night, struck, beat and kicked her. Since the separation she has been compelled to work in a factory, the complaint alleges. Ten dollars a week for the support of the plaintiff and child, pending action in the case, $5 a week afterwards for the child and $50 attorneys fees are asked by the plaintiff. The couple was married January 29, 1913.
