SHELBYVILLE, Ind., Sept. 14.--William Sandefur, a farmer
of this (Shelby) county, has been missing from his home near Boggstown for a
week, and his wife and five children have had no tidings from him. He drove away
with his team of horses and a farm wagon. Mrs. Sandefur and her son, 18 years
old, are managing the farm. There had been no trouble between Mr. Sandefur and
the members of his family and there is fear on their part that he had been
worrying recently on account of the failure of his crops, which had caused him
to be come seriously involved financially.
