PLEADED  GUILTY  AND
PAID  FINE  SATURDAY

          The trial of  Clara Sanders,  charged with profanity on an affidavit filed by  Lottie Redenbaugh,  a neighbor, was held Saturday afternoon in  'Squire Harry C. Ray's court and the defendant pleaded guilty to the charge and was given a fine and costs of $9.90 which she paid.  The two women had some trouble during the middle part of last week and the affidavit was filed immediately.  They are both residents of east Franklin street.

          Miss Hallie Dritt  entertained a few of her friends at an enjoyable slumber party at her home on Washington avenue last night, the guests being  Miss Hazel Gordon,  of Indianapolis, and  Misses Stella Small,  Elizabeth Griffith,  Grace and  Edna Binford  and  Miss Ruby Sanders  of this city.

          Constable Sanders,  who was in Brown county, yesterday, says he only met one republican while there and that was a widow.
