          Vern Shepple  the thirteen-year-old son of  Peter Shepple, was burning stumps yesterday afternoon, and his clothes became saturated with the coal oil that he was pouring on the stumps and caught [the article continues, but my copy ends here]

          John Shepple  and wife are caring for a new boy at their home in Union township.  He will wheelbarrow out the sawdust in the sawmill while papa runs the engine.
