... about 40 years old, resident of
Chicago was taken into charge because she was found wandering around probably all
night when she called on a Boggstown home. She had become irrational and
appeared to have lost all reason probably from exposure. She was taken to
her mother's home. They thought she had started for her home in Chicago.

Impression of St Paul [MN] and Her Buildings
--Personal
----o----
St. Paul, Minn., April 17, 1891.
St. Paul is a great city,
and is most compactly built. I visited the Globe;... [The writer goes on
to describe several large buildings.]
I found an old
Shelbyville boy here, Mr. Frank Strong, who is a clerk in one of the
offices of the Duluth and St. Paul Railway. He is doing well, is perfectly
delighted with his position and nothing could induce him to return. He got
leave of absence for a few hours this morning, and we strolled out Summit Avenue, where all the aristocracy reside, and which Avenue contains all the fine residences. One in particular, is that of J. J. Hill, who is President of the Great Northern Railway. It is built from red granite, is three stories high and contains thirty-three rooms. He has a private electric light plant and artificial gas and the residence will cover three times as much space as that beautiful residence of Mr. and Mrs. Will Major at home. It has been two years since he commenced building it, and it will cost in the neighborhood of one million and a half dollars, when finished.
