Surber
The Daily Evening DemocratJames Surber, of Moral township, while out hunting yesterday met with a horrible accident. It appears that young Surber, who is a hard working young farmer, and a companion by the name of Albert McClain had stopped and were engaged in conversation when the unfortunate man placed one end of the gun, which was a double-barreled shot-gun, on the ground and placed his right arm over the barrels, when the gun went off and completely riddled the lower part of his arm. His aattending physicians, Dr. Levitt and Rubush, say that amputation will be necessary.
