Bit By a Mad Calf.
----------
Mrs. Edward Tucker of Hendricks township, is suffering terribly from a bite on her hand inflicted by a calf belong to her husband, and from which serious results are feared. The calf was bitten a few days ago by a mad dog, the same one that bit her husband, who went to Ohio and had a madstone applied to his wounds. She heard a racket in the barnyard Wednesday evening and, on going out to investigate, found the calf engaged in an effort to chew up a goose. While attempting to rescue the goose the calf bit her badly in the hand. Two dogs, one belonging to James Tucker and one belonging to Sam White, which were bitten by the same dog, went mad this week and were killed.
