JOSEPH UPDEGRAFF, Esq. -- This gentleman, formerly a well and favorably known active, business and influential citizen of our county, has been for several years past and at present is living in Clark county, Ills. He is now a member of the Illinois legislature, and we see from the papers is making a working member of that body. He possesses a good address and ability, and talents of high order, and is well calculated to make friends and a favorable impression upon all with whom he comes in contact, and withal is a bold, fearless, unflinching, working, national Democrat, and voted for the gallant and lion-hearted Doublas. Success to old Shelby's representative in the Illinois Legislature.
