SAYS HIS WIFE
WAS INSANELY JEALOUS
----------
George Wainscott Files Complaint
For Divorce
----------
George W. Wainscott, of 715 Main street, is suing his wife,
Mrs. Rosie
Wainscott, for a divorce, the complaint having been filed in circuit court
late Tuesday afternoon by Attorney Elmer Bassett. He alleges cruel treatment.
The couple was married April 28, 1892 and the separation occurred October 10,
1912. In giving specific reasons why he thinks he should be granted the decree
of divorce, Mr. Wainscott alleges that his wife is insanely jealous of him.
He
says she wrongfully accuses him of intimacy with other women and that she calls
him vile names and quarrels with him of nights till he can not sleep after he
goes to bed. He charges that she refused to get his breakfast for him and that
often he was forced to go hungry to his work at the local factories. He also
alleges that she refused to wash his clothing and that she told him they were
not respectable.
