DEATH CLAIMS
MR. CHAPPELOW

Robert P. Chappelow, 54, Marietta, R.R. 4, Shelbyville, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis, where he had been admitted Saturday. He had been in failing health several weeks and seriously ill five days. Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Carmony Funeral Home here with Rev. Helen Hager officiating. Burial will be in the Snyder Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
Mr. Chappelow, born in Shelby County July 30, 1914, was an Army Veteran of World War II and had been employed at the K T Corp. here. Survivors are two sons, Charles R. Chappelow and John W. Chappelow both of Shelbyville, his mother, Mrs. Agnes Zeigler, Columbus, two half-brothers, Millard Zeigler, R.R. 1, Flat Rock and Roy Zeigler, Shelbyville and a half-sister Mrs. Eliza Whitehead Clifford. A son, Harold Wayne Chappelow preceded in death.

MR. CHAPPELOW
DIES IN HOSPITAL

Shelby County Native

Henry Chappelow, 49, of R.R. 4, Franklin, died Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Johnson County Memorial Hospital, where he had been admitted yesterday afternoon. He had not been ill.
Mr. Chappelow was a lifelong resident of Shelby County and was employed at Bendit, Inc., in Shelbyville. He was a member of the Bengal Christian Church.
Born in Shelby County July 24, 1918, he was the son of Benjamin and Helen Janes (Smith) Chappelow. On Feb. 28, 1953, he married Zelma Faye Logsdon, who survives at home.
Also surviving are four children, Danny, Randy, Diane and Paul Chappelow, all at home; four sisters and brothers, Mrs. Verna Cooper of R.R. 4, Franklin, and Donald R. and David E. Chappelow and Mrs. Betty Shauck, all of Indianapolis.
Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bengal Christian Church, with the Rev. Tom Stark officiating. Burial will be in the Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
